In the fourth quarter of 2023, the virtual fitness landscape in Europe has seen various trends across the top applications in the market. Sensor Tower's comprehensive data provides a clear picture of how these apps have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced a decrease in revenue over the quarter, starting at $854K in the last week of September and dipping to $843K by Christmas. Downloads showed a similar downward trend, from 144K in early October to 138K at the end of December. Weekly active users peaked at 4M in early October, before settling around 3.8M at the quarter's end.
Fitbit: Health & Fitness also saw a decline in revenue, from $450K to around $522K, with a slight increase towards the end of the year.
